DRM-free music on iTunes
Finally one of the big music labels gets it. EMI will start selling DRM-free music on iTunes. Finally you will be able to play the music you bought everywhere you want and finally more people will be informed about why DRM is bad for them. EMI will have to explain the .30 cent markup (DRM-free music will be 1.29 instead of the ‘regular’ .99-version), this means they will have to spend their marketing dollars to justify this difference. Surely it can only be a matter of time before the others follow..
