After the headphones of my iPod Nano died (the regular ones as well as the lanyard ones I bought seperate), I decided that I was done with Apple’s headphones. After reading a lot of reviews and checking DL.TV for what they had to say about headphones I decided that I was going to try some ‘inner-ear’ style headphones. My choice has fallen upon the Sennheiser CX 300 (the white edition, to match my nano). I must say I love these things, the inner-ear thing is a bit weird at first, but when you get used to it there is just no turning back. There’s more bass, more midtones, it’s just incredible. The one thing that really got me hooked is the noise-cancelling. I spend a lot of time in and around trains and with these I can listen to my music even when a train is passing through the station, with the volume setting turned to less than half of what I used to have!!

The only downside is that the cord is rather thin, so I must be extra carefull not to break it (it wouldn’t be the first time I destroyed headphones that way) but I can live with that.
